Stella-Jones is a leading producer of industrial pressure-treated wood products, and we are looking for a skilled Logistics and Accounting Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory control and invoicing, and be proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

The Logistics and Accounting Administrator will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining accurate records of purchases, receipts, and reconciliations.
  • Coordinating with suppliers and other Stella-Jones offices to ensure timely and efficient inventory movement.
  • Assisting with sales by verifying and confirming sales invoices and providing customer quoting.

Data Management:

  • Manage data entry and perform necessary corrections.

Accounting and Reporting:

  • Process payment of mill invoices.
  • Verify all freight/customer invoices prior to processing.
  • Address Accounts Payable (AP) issues through daily use of VIM (Vendor Invoice Management).

Inventory Control:

  • Coordinate with border reload stock transfers and track inventory movements.
  • Handle Windsor stock movements and prepare all stock transfers in SAP.
  • Adjust STOs (Stock Transfer Orders) for reception in plants.
  • Work closely with the Head Office team to ensure transactions are posted correctly.

Communication:

  • Communicate with suppliers and Stella-Jones offices regarding lumber receiving, shipments to treating plants, and accounts payable.
  • Prepare information for the weekly lumber meeting.
