About the Role: As a Produce Clerk with FreshCo, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our produce section meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and freshness. Your primary responsibility will be to receive, store, and merchandise produce products in accordance with company inventory control procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Management: Ensure timely and accurate ordering of produce products to meet customer demand.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate records of produce inventory levels, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions as needed.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their shopping needs, answering questions about produce products, and making recommendations.
- Visual Merchandising: Create visually appealing displays of produce products to drive sales and enhance the shopping experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to lift up to 20lbs, and have a strong attention to detail. Previous experience in retail or food service would be an asset.
Salary: The estimated salary for this role is $15-$18 per hour, depending on experience and location.
