Salary

The successful candidate will be compensated at an hourly rate of $16.70, commensurate with industry standards and reflective of the responsibilities associated with this role.

About the Role

We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Property Security Guardian. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our residents and properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, customers, contractors, and visitors, addressing their inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to established protocols and procedures, reporting any incidents or hazards to the appropriate authorities.
  • Enforce client rules, regulations, and municipal laws, collaborating with law enforcement and medical personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular property patrols, monitoring facilities and surrounding areas for potential security risks.
  • Document incidents, accidents, and other notable events, maintaining accurate records and adhering to first-service residential policies.

Requirements

  • A valid Ontario security license is mandatory for this position.
  • Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, although completion of college-level courses in business, hospitality, or police/security foundations may be beneficial.

Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to lift 50 pounds, sit for extended periods, and stand for prolonged durations. You must also possess strong communication skills, enabling you to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
