About the Role

The Financial Services Advisor will be responsible for advising on trust account investments, identifying clients' financial goals and objectives, and supervising staff. This role will involve analyzing clients' financial records, developing financial plans, and making recommendations concerning cash management, insurance coverage, and investment planning.

Work Setting

This is a permanent position in the private sector, with a 40-hour workweek and a dental plan. The Work Language is English.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise on trust account investments and identify clients' financial goals and objectives.
  • Analyze clients' financial records and develop financial plans.
  • Make recommendations concerning cash management, insurance coverage, and investment planning.
  • Supervise staff and arrange for the sale of financial products and investments.
  • Negotiate with corporations and government to determine the type and terms of new securities issues.
  • Prepare offering prospectus for new issues of stocks and bonds.
  • Negotiate mortgage loans and make application for mortgage to lenders or lending institutions on behalf of clients.
  • Administer estate, personal, charitable, corporate, and other types of trusts, direct trust account investments, receive and record investment income, and disburse trust funds.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of financial statement audits.
