Job Title: Assistant Store Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Canada Inc. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and Control Daily Operations: Ensure that all store operations are running smoothly and efficiently.
- Evaluate Daily Operations: Monitor and evaluate the performance of store operations to identify areas for improvement.
- Plan and Organize Daily Operations: Plan and organize daily operations to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Manage Staff and Assign Duties: Manage and supervise a team of staff, assigning duties and responsibilities as needed.
- Determine Merchandise and Services to be Sold: Determine the merchandise and services to be sold in the store, ensuring that they meet the needs of our customers.
- Implement Price and Credits Policies: Implement price and credits policies to ensure that customers are treated fairly and consistently.
- Locate, Select and Procure Merchandise for Resale: Locate, select and procure merchandise for resale, ensuring that it meets our quality standards.
- Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies: Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the store and its products.
- Plan Budgets and Monitor Revenues and Expenses: Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses to ensure that the store is operating within budget.
- Determine Staffing Requirements: Determine staffing requirements to ensure that the store is adequately staffed at all times.
- Resolve Issues that May Arise: Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
- Recruit, Hire and Supervise Staff: Recruit, hire and supervise staff, ensuring that they are trained and equipped to perform their duties effectively.
- Oversee Payroll Administration: Oversee payroll administration to ensure that staff are paid accurately and on time.
- Conduct Performance Reviews: Conduct performance reviews to evaluate the performance of staff and identify areas for improvement.
- Supervise Office and Volunteer Staff: Supervise office and volunteer staff, ensuring that they are trained and equipped to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
