About the RoleThis is a full-time permanent position that reports directly to the Avionics Shop Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, repair, and modification on aircraft as assigned to them and as required under supervision by a licensed technician.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out maintenance, repair, and modification on aircraft as assigned to them and as required under supervision by a licensed technician.
- Ensure all maintenance and safety precautions are observed when carrying out assigned activities.
- Sign work sheets and work cards for work accomplished - completely and accurately.
- Report unserviceable equipment to their assigned licensed technician and/or lead technician.
- Notify assigned licensed and/or lead technician of all defects discovered during routine maintenance.
- Communicate when tasks are complete so next trade can move onto the job.
- Attend and complete training courses as assigned by company management.
- Ensure work environment is safe and clean.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Shows integrity, ingenuity, and assertiveness in the performance of tasks.
- Must have strong troubleshooting skills with good quality workmanship.
- Employee is expected to work towards obtaining their 'E' license.
