Key Responsibilities

The Medical Radiography Technologist will perform radiographic/fluoroscopic, CT Scans, and related duties in conjunction with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

Impact and Growth

Royal Inland Hospital is a tertiary referral hospital located in Kamloops, offering high-level specialty medical care, including core physician specialties, 24-hour emergency and trauma services, ambulatory and outpatient clinics, and diagnostic services. The Medical Imaging department operates 24/7, with shifts covering the 24-hour period. We have an excellent team, including seven radiologists on site daily, and a regional PACS System that provides real-time patient histories throughout Interior Health.

What We Offer

Casual employment means work requirements can vary between zero and 37.5 hours per week. Work will be available on a short-notice, on-call basis, and/or blocks of shifts pre-scheduled to relieve leaves of absence. Opportunity to apply for regular employment positions within the internal recruitment job posting process. Shifts will be days, evenings, and/or nights. The hourly wage will be $36.69 to $45.81 per hour.

Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program.
  • Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
