Job Title: Sample Room Foreman/Woman

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sample Room Foreman/Woman to join our team at Uniform Garment (N.A.) Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Sample Room Foreman/Woman will be responsible for coordinating work activities with other departments, establishing methods to meet work schedules, and supervising a team of 11-15 people. The ideal candidate will have 5 years or more of experience in a similar role and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate work activities with other departments to ensure efficient production and quality control.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Supervise and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Set up machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitor and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to distinguish between colours and attention to detail.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a team environment.
Working Conditions:

The Sample Room Foreman/Woman will work in a noisy environment with repetitive tasks. The ideal candidate will be able to stand for extended periods and work in a physically demanding environment.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule:

The Sample Room Foreman/Woman will work 32 to 44 hours per week.
