Key Responsibilities- Design and Creation
- Design and build custom seating and positioning products for clients based on their individual needs.
- Attend in-person assessments to determine client needs.
- Take measurements and scan shapes for custom seating.
- Submit order forms to manufacturers and shape and adjust elements for seating and chairs.
- Delivering a Motion Customer Experience
- Provide outstanding customer experiences through honest, empathic, respectful, and friendly interactions.
- Build trusting relationships with clients and ensure their needs are met.
- Collaboration
- Work with sales representatives and other healthcare professionals to provide assessments and create quotes.
- Be a resource and subject matter expert on seat creation and maintenance for the sales team and other business units.
- Experience
- Hands-on experience in manufacturing, prosthetics building, fabrication, upholstery, commercial sewing, or a similar field.
- Comfortable using basic software.
- Construction Skills
- Comfortable using shop equipment, including band saw, table saw, shapers, etc.
- Welding experience is an asset.
- Communication and Collaboration Skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Able to present solutions to issues and introduce clients to services and devices in a clear and effective way.
- Empathy and Respect
- Able to engage clients in meaningful and concise conversations to ensure individualized needs are met.
- Approach every interaction with clients with respect, professionalism, and empathy.
- Education
- Secondary diploma and courses in applied anatomy and physiology.
- Certificate in healthcare, prosthetics, or a related field is ideal.
- Additional Requirements
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds to move equipment and devices.
- Valid G-class driver's license and clean insurance record for company vehicle use.
- Clear criminal background check and eligibility for bonding.
