Alberta Health Services is seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our team in the Calgary Zone. As a Paramedic, you will play a critical role in assessing emergency scenes and patients, providing life-saving care, and transporting patients to medical facilities.

Description:

As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for assessing emergency scenes and patients, administering medications, and providing advanced life support. You will also lead the ALS crew in delivering clinical care during patient transport or at emergency scenes. Additionally, you will ensure that ambulances or other Emergency Medical Services (EMS) vehicles are properly stocked and equipped.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Advanced Care Paramedic program. Active registration with Alberta College of Paramedics (ACP) as an Advanced Care Paramedic. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP). Must hold a valid Class 4 Alberta Operator's Licence with no more than six (6) demerits.

EMS Experience: Resume to include/confirm name of service/employer, employment tenure in years/months with dates. Other Experience: Industrial, Firefighting, Emergency or Critical Care Nursing. Resume to include/confirm name of institution attended, program completed and graduation date.
