Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at Interline Wholesale Hardware Distributors Ltd. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating machine tools to manufacture precision parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and adjust production machineries/tools to ensure accurate and efficient production.
  • Measure and lay out work pieces in preparation for assembly.
  • Repair machine tools and parts to maintain optimal performance.
  • Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance.
  • Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments.
  • Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances.
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments.
  • Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools.
  • Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physically demanding work requiring standing for extended periods.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
Work Environment
