Project Engineer Senior
Surerus Pipeline Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Project Engineer Senior to join our team of engineers and technicians in the planning, execution, and completion of pipeline construction projects.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in major pipeline construction, oil and gas facility construction, and steep slope construction. They will be responsible for ensuring that all technical work products and requirements are identified and developed in accordance with project requirements, applicable standards, specifications, and regulations.
Main Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the Technical Services Group to ensure optimum delivery and maximum return while managing risk.
- Review and understand relevant project-specific documentation to determine deliverables required prior to and during the works.
- Effectively allocate resources to ensure compliance with technical requirements and engineering best practices.
- Develop and issue drawings, documents, and supporting construction, including lifting, hazardous slopes, crossings, civil and grade works, ditch and excavations, hydrostatic testing, piling, and pipe fabrication and installation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Registration as a P.Eng in good standing with EGBC and/or APEGA, or ability to be registered in the applicable jurisdiction prior to start of construction.
- Minimum 5 years experience in project engineering, construction, or other relevant roles.
- Experience in major pipeline construction, oil and gas facility construction, and steep slope construction.
- Experience using AutoCAD.
