Job Title: Cashier (Full-time)

About the Role:

Giant Tiger is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cashier to join our team in Edmunston. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure a high level of customer service at the checkouts
• Accurately record customer transactions in electronic cash register, mainline and self checkouts (SCOs)
• Replenish merchandise around the checkout area
• Ensure health and safety policies and guidelines are followed
• Ensure Loss prevention best practices are followed
• Ensure compliance of all policies when selling Tobacco and Lottery

Work Schedule:

A typical full-time schedule will consist of day shifts, two evenings per week, and alternating weekends with a schedule of 35-40 hours weekly.

• Stand and/or walk

• Reach above shoulder height and below waist level
• Operate equipment, including using a ladder

Keyholder Premium:

Opening and closing the store on an ad hoc basis, including running register reports, ensuring all areas are tidy, and ensuring all Associates have completed their end of shift tasks.
