About the Role

We are seeking a Sales Associate to provide retail services to members of the Canadian Armed Forces. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing a variety of services, including regular retail services, dry cleaning, lottery services, self-serve gas services, postal services, and assisting CAF members with credit plan applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate Point of Sales systems, the debit/credit machine, and maintain a float.
  • Respond to enquiries from customers, providing them with information on merchandising and ensuring the store shelves are stocked, faced, and properly signed.
  • Take and prepare food and beverage orders, and prepare takeout food, while ensuring cleanliness of food service and eating areas.

Requirements

  • An acceptable combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Food Handling Certification, as required.
  • Must possess a Responsible Service of Alcohol certification (Province), as required.
  • Experience in cash handling, food and beverage preparation, and food and beverage service.

Language Requirements

Bilingual (English and French) Essential.
