Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Professional to join our team at Fédération des parents francophones de Colombie-Britannique. As a key member of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children in our care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Synthesize the overall situation of the children and communicate the information to parents.
  • Encourage children to express creativity through various media, such as art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity.
  • Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
  • Establish guidelines for behavior.
  • Plan and organize activities for school-age children in childcare programs before and after regular school hours.
Requirements
  • Emergency child care first aid and CPR certification.
  • Criminal record check.
