About the Role:
Casual deck officers are required to join our fleet of dry bulk coastal vessels operating in Australian waters. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of vessels, including the cement carrier Goliath and the transhipment vessel Donnacona.

Salary:
The salary for this position will be in accordance with the relevant collective agreement.

Job Description:
As a casual deck officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of our vessels. You will work closely with the crew to maintain the highest standards of safety and efficiency. Your duties may include:
  • Assisting with navigation and communication
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks
  • Monitoring cargo operations


Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
  • A relevant AMSA COC or AMSA COR certificate
  • An MSIC card
  • A current AMSA medical certificate
  • A Certificate of Safety Training (desired)
  • Australian citizenship or a valid working visa
