Freelance Courier Driver Opportunity Calgary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Freelance Courier Driver to join our team in Calgary. As a key member of our delivery network, you will be responsible for transporting packages within the city.
About the RoleThis is a part-time or full-time opportunity where you can customize your schedule to fit your needs. You will have the flexibility to choose which days you work, with shifts available every day of the week.
Our drivers enjoy a range of benefits, including:
- A competitive hourly rate, working out to approximately $25-30/hour
- The opportunity to earn more for top performers
- A steady income, even during challenging times
You will be delivering light, small packages within a dense zone of the Calgary area. Routes are typically 100-150km and may involve 80-160 stops per day.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Requirements- A valid driver's license
- Your own vehicle, such as a minivan, car or SUV (electric vehicles are encouraged)
- A smartphone with a data plan
- Safety vest (Class 2) for warehouse use
- All-weather tires (winter season only)
- The ability to safely get in and out of your vehicle multiple times a day
- Excellent English communication skills
- Able to pass a criminal background check
Prior experience as a courier in Calgary is an asset, but not required. If you possess excellent time management skills, a customer service background, and a can-do attitude, we encourage you to apply.
