We are seeking a skilled Granite Cutter to join our team at Reliable Granite Inc. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for cutting and processing granite blocks and slabs to meet our high standards of quality and precision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Blade or Wire Saws: Safely operate blade or wire saws to cut blocks of granite to specified dimensions, ensuring accurate cuts and minimal waste.
  • Grinding and Polishing: Operate machines to grind and polish surfaces of granite blocks, slabs, or other stone products to specific shapes or designs, producing a smooth finish.
  • Inspection and Quality Control: Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, ensuring they meet our company's standards.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in diversity and cross-cultural training programs to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees.
  • Support for Veterans: Engage in awareness training to promote a welcoming work environment for veterans.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Participate in cultural competency training to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.

  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
