Job Summary

Akal Truck & Trailer Centre Inc is seeking a skilled Truck Trailer Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the field
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Flexibility and reliability
  • Ability to work in a team environment
