Responsibilities

  • Design and develop robust software systems for insurance clients using Guidewire Policy Centre and Billing Centre (v7 or higher) and Guidewire Jutro or JDP Platform.
  • Leverage your technical expertise to provide expert advice, guidance, and mentoring to project team members and stakeholders.
  • Analyze complex technology/systems issues, determine areas of risk, and recommend innovative alternatives and options for resolution to meet client needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality results.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in design and development of systems, preferably within the insurance industry.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Guidewire Policy Centre and Billing Centre (v7 or higher) and Guidewire Jutro or JDP Platform.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, with excellent organization and communication skills.
  • Proven track record of working in an Agile environment with exposure to SCRUM and Lean methodology.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to prioritize among many conflicting needs, advocate a course of action, and pursue it consistently but flexibly.
