Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced analyst to join our Investment Process Management group within our Quantitative Equities team.
About the Role
- Research and acquire differentiated alternative data sets from various vendors to develop unique alpha insights.
- Mentor and assist other data analysts to maximize their impact within the team.
- Develop robust methodologies for assessing and analyzing alternative data to determine relative value.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate traditional and alternative data into existing analytical frameworks and decision-making processes.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in alternative data and evaluate their potential impact on our business strategy.
- Present findings and recommendations to key stakeholders in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
- Work with in-house compliance teams to ensure data acquisition workflows adhere to internal policy.
- Work with legal counsel to ensure data contracts are aligned with legal, investment team, and business requirements.

Requirements

- Academic Training – At a minimum, an undergraduate degree in finance, mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering, or related discipline. Completion of CFA or relevant graduate degree is considered an asset.
- Industry Experience – 2-5 years of experience in quantitative finance, equity investment, data science, or related fields is preferred.
