Responsibilities:- Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare and serve meal trays, and assist with feeding residents as needed.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting a sense of well-being and dignity.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and comfort of residents.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols and resident confidentiality.
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
- Experience: An asset, but not required.
- Criminal record check, immunization records, and tuberculosis test required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with attention to detail.
- Physical demands include standing for extended periods, combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and lifting over 45 kg (100 lbs).
