Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at The Good Samaritan Society. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our residents in a fast-paced nursing home environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Supply and empty bed pans, and maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Prepare and serve meal trays, and assist with feeding patients
  • Weigh, lift, turn, and position patients with care and attention to detail
  • Maintain inventory of supplies, and perform administrative tasks as needed
  • Transport patients between care facilities, and provide emotional support and companionship
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting
  • First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and provide excellent patient care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work as part of a team
