Job Summary

Paladin Security is seeking highly skilled and customer-focused Security Guards to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the safety and security of our clients, tenants, and patrons.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service and assistance to clients, tenants, and patrons
  • Write clear and detailed reports, including incident, emergency, liability, and day-to-day reports
  • Monitor and report irregularities, such as security breaches, facility and safety hazards, and emergency situations
  • Provide first aid and medical response when required
  • Perform regular foot patrols to ensure personnel, building, and equipment security
  • Utilize two-way radios and computer applications to communicate site activities
  • Exercise crowd control and evict trespassers

Requirements

  • 6 months of security experience or 6 months of customer experience
  • Valid security license
  • Valid OFA 1 or higher (asset)
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Physical fitness: ability to walk for prolonged hours
  • Class 5 or Class 7 N BC Driving License (asset for Mobile Patrol)

Education and Certification Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Valid BC Security License
  • Valid Class 5 BC Drivers License
  • OFA I
