We are seeking a highly skilled General Practitioner in Medical Oncology to join our team at BC Cancer – Victoria. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive cancer care to patients, working closely with radiation oncologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide symptom management and patient follow-up assessments for patients on active treatment
- Develop and maintain expertise in Medical Oncology, with support from the department
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Eligibility for licensure in British Columbia
- Canadian certification (FRCP, FRCS or CCFP) at the time of appointment
- Suitability for appointment to the University of British Columbia
- A comprehensive benefits package, including municipal pension plan and psychological health & safety programs
