We are seeking a skilled Beekeeping Professional to join our team at Nolte Apiaries Ltd. As an essential member of our apiary crew, you will play a vital role in maintaining the health and productivity of our bee colonies.
About the RoleThis is a seasonal opportunity, running from spring to fall, with the possibility of extension depending on weather conditions and nectar flow. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in beekeeping, with experience in harvesting honey and maintaining apiary equipment.
The successful applicant will be responsible for monitoring animal health, diagnosing any issues that may arise, and taking corrective action to ensure the continued well-being of our bees. Additionally, they will be required to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, as well as assist with harvesting crops.
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary for this position, as you will be expected to travel between apiary locations and participate in tasks such as bee removals and apiary cleanups.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor animal health and diagnose any issues that may arise

Work Environment: This position involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, dust, and potential exposure to stings and other allergens. Steel-toed safety boots are provided, but applicants must be prepared to work in a physically demanding environment.
Requirements- 1-2 years of experience in beekeeping or a related field
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Nolte Apiaries Ltd offers a competitive salary of $40,000 - $50,000 per year, based on experience, as well as free parking and the opportunity to work in a dynamic and rewarding industry.
