Job Title: Hairstylist

Join Snips, a dynamic and innovative barbershop and hairstyling salon, as a Hairstylist. We are seeking a skilled and creative individual to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Hairstylist to provide exceptional hair care services to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hair styling and a keen eye for detail. As a Hairstylist at Snips, you will be responsible for cutting, trimming, and styling hair, as well as providing custom hair and scalp treatments.

Responsibilities:
  • Advise clients on beauty care treatments and analyze hair and scalp condition.
  • Book appointments and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences.
  • Provide custom hair and scalp treatment, including shampooing, shaving, and styling.
  • Apply bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses to colour, frost, or streak hair.
  • Apply hair extensions and clean and style wigs and hair pieces.
  • Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair.
  • Suggest hair styles compatible with client's physical features and preferences.
  • Maintain and order supplies.
Requirements:
  • Hairstylist Trade Certification.
  • Hairstylist Licence.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
Work Environment:

Our barbershop and hairstyling salon is located in an urban area, and we are easily accessible by public transportation.
