Job Title: Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at Sanderling Transport. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, GPS, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory management.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition, and report any issues to the maintenance team.
  • Communicate with central dispatch to receive and relay information, and maintain accurate records of cargo, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements:
  • AZ class license and Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Flexibility, judgement, organized, reliability, and team player skills.
