Embark on a mission to revolutionize the automotive industry as a Senior Embedded Software Developer at LeddarTech.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop cutting-edge embedded software for our new products, focusing on integrating advanced automotive sensors.
  • Design and implement C++ software for sensor data recording, ensuring seamless integration with our data collection system.
  • Create operating system images, including drivers, for various ECUs to support development and production purposes.
  • Review and optimize code, perform unit testing, and ensure high code coverage.

Contribute to Organizational Growth:

  • Participate in relevant meetings to drive project success.
  • Provide assistance and support to colleagues, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Contribute to the development of organizational administrative procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in C++ development.
  • University degree in computer or electrical engineering or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in IoT, robotics, or automotive industries.
  • Proficiency in Linux, Yocto, and container technologies.
  • Experience working with complex SoCs, such as TI TDA4 and nVidia Orin.
  • Understanding of computer vision principles.
  • Experience with agile methods, including Scrum.
  • Knowledge of ASPICE methodology.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and communicate effectively in both French and English.

Important Note:

This role requires direct interaction with and review of data from our Autonomous vehicle and its sensors, which are situated in Quebec City. It is essential that the candidate resides in Quebec City for this position.
