Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at RhynoCare. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

• Provide nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and the resident's plan of care.
• Utilize sound nursing practice principles to deliver excellent nursing and personal care in the assigned home area(s).
• Ensure timely and accessible admissions, comprehensive orientations, and safe resident transfers and discharges.
• Manage medications, narcotics, and other controlled substances, adhering to protocols and regulations.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the diverse needs of our residents.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent degree.
• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Basic computer proficiency and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and standards, including the Long Term Care Act and the Health Disciplines Act.
• Medical Clearance, including TB tests, and a Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
