Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at Alberta Ltd. As an Early Childhood Educator Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our preschool program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist early childhood educators in maintaining accurate records of children's progress and development.
  • Engage children in various activities, including storytelling, singing, and craft preparation, to promote their cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
  • Help children develop essential life skills, such as eating, dressing, and using the toilet, in a safe and supportive environment.
  • Prepare healthy snacks and arrange the classroom to facilitate lunch and rest periods.
  • Submit written observations of children's behavior and progress to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and address any concerns or challenges.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Perform repetitive tasks, such as cleaning and organizing the classroom.
  • Exercise attention to detail when maintaining records and preparing materials.
  • Combine sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day to ensure a healthy work environment.
  • Bend, crouch, and kneel to accommodate the needs of children and maintain a safe and organized classroom.
