About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Expert to join our team at Harmony Court. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a range of dishes according to standardized recipes and production guidelines.
  • Set up workstations with all necessary ingredients and equipment.
  • Measure, weigh, mix, chop, trim, and peel food items as required.
  • Safely use a variety of utensils, including knives.
  • Operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, and other kitchen appliances.
  • Bake, roast, broil, steam, and use a range of cooking methods to prepare meat, vegetables, and other foods.
  • Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to established guidelines.
  • Properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures.
  • Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils.
  • Maintain excellent customer service and a positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, and colleagues.
  • Adhere to Aramark's safety policies and procedures, including accurate food safety and sanitation.
  • Ensure the security of company assets.
Requirements
  • Experience as a cook or in a related role is required.
  • Validated knowledge of the basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations.
  • Ability to acquire food safety certification.
  • Demonstrate basic math and counting skills.
  • Demonstrate interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
Working Conditions

This role may have physical demands, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Compensation

The pay rate for this role is $17.50.
