Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our team at Kal Tire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and delivering high-quality tire, brake, and alignment services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform tire removal, installation, and repair services for passenger and light truck vehicles, including wheel assemblies, tire balancing, and inflation.
  • Diagnose and repair brake and suspension issues, including front-end brakes, shocks, and wheel alignments.
  • Assist with mechanical inspections and services, including oil lube and filter service, and basic understanding and use of alignment machines and flush machines.
  • Contribute to a safe and environmentally responsible workplace by following all safety and environmental policies and rules.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver's Licence.
  • Grade 12 or GED.
  • Excellent communication skills, mechanical aptitude, and attention to detail.
  • Participation in an accredited automotive or mechanical apprenticeship program (Level 1, 2 or 3).
