Job Title: Procurement Manager

At Flexstaf IT, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Supply Chain department, you will be responsible for leading the Purchasing Planning and Logistics teams at our Scarborough location.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supply Chain Management: Collaborate with the Director of Supply Chain to develop and implement procurement strategies, manage procurement processes, and negotiate contracts with vendors.
  • Warehouse Management: Support inventory management processes, identify slow-moving materials, and mitigate risks associated with perishable items.
  • Finance: Negotiate payment terms, discounts, and rebates with vendors, and ensure accurate reflection of total landed costs in pricing models.
  • Quality Assurance: Support the vetting and onboarding of new suppliers, and assist in resolving material quality issues.
  • Commercial Responsibilities: Drive strategic sourcing for new materials in commercial projects, and align commodity contracts with key customer contacts.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 7 years of leadership experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Bachelor's degree in management, supply chain, or engineering (higher education is a plus).
  • Strong organizational, time management, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP WMS and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to manage a team effectively in a fast-paced 24/7 operational environment.
