We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced surgical pathologist to join our team at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre.

About the Role

This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to provide general surgical pathology services with a focus on gastrointestinal, breast, gynecologic, skin, genitourinary, and other areas. The successful candidate will have certification in General Pathology or Anatomic Pathology and be licensed to practice in Ontario.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality diagnostic services to patients and healthcare providers
• Collaborate with laboratory staff and medical colleagues to ensure smooth workflow and excellent patient care
• Maintain ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in surgical pathology

Requirements

• Board certification in General Pathology or Anatomic Pathology
• Licence to practice medicine in Ontario
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
