Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist chefs in food preparation, including cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment and utensils.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Assist with food packaging and labeling, and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
