We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team at AE INDUSTRIES INC.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting technical analyses of survey and field data, developing construction specifications and procedures, and planning and designing major civil projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct technical analyses of survey and field data for development of topographic, soil, hydrological or other information and prepare reports
  • Develop construction specifications and procedures
  • Establish and monitor construction work schedules
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate building and construction materials
  • Interpret, review and approve survey and civil design work
  • Plan and design major civil projects such as buildings, roads, bridges, dams, water and waste management systems and structural steel fabrications
  • Prepare contract documents and review and evaluate tenders for construction projects
Requirements
  • Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work under pressure.
