Job Title: General Duty MRI Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Duty MRI Technologist to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic MRI scans in accordance with established procedures and protocols. This includes maintaining a safe environment, ensuring compliance with quality assurance programs, and adhering to professional and provincial guidelines.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic MRI scans in accordance with established procedures and protocols
  • Maintain a safe environment and ensure compliance with quality assurance programs
  • Adhere to professional and provincial guidelines
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved MRI training program
  • Successful completion of the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technology registration examinations (CAMRT)
  • Registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (C.A.M.R.T.)
  • Current BCLS within the past 12 months or BCLS Instructor Certificate
  • Windows computer environment required
  • Microsoft Office programs preferred
