About the Role

As an Insurance Broker with Western Coast Insurance Services, you will play a crucial role in helping our customers protect what matters most to them. Your primary responsibility will be to meet sales targets through quotes and referrals, building lasting relationships with our clients and providing them with the right insurance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with their daily insurance needs, providing them with expert advice and guidance.
  • Support the Account Executives in processing and servicing new business, ensuring seamless customer experiences.
  • Manage queries and up-selling of products to new and existing clients, driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Follow up on all client accounts to resolve outstanding activities, maintaining high levels of customer engagement.
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and build relationships with insurance providers, staying ahead of industry trends.
  • Continuously develop your skills and knowledge through industry training and courses, ensuring you remain a subject matter expert.
  • Have a deep understanding of each insurance company's products, endorsements, packages, and payment plans, providing customers with informed advice.

Requirements

  • RIBO / General Level 1 Insurance License required.
  • Proficient in navigating multiple computer programs, with a strong understanding of insurance software.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally in-person, over the phone, and through written correspondence.
  • Prior experience achieving sales targets in a similar or comparable role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Working experience in EPIC an asset, but not required.
