Aptech Precision Machining Inc is seeking a skilled Machinist Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing machine tools and parts, reading and interpreting engineering drawings, and maintaining inspection records.

Responsibilities
  • Repair machine tools and parts
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables
  • Fitting and assembling components and machine parts to close tolerance
  • Documenting and reporting deviations from specifications and tolerances
  • Maintaining inspection records and completing inspection reports
  • Verifying dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments
  • Setting up and adjusting production machineries/tools
  • Setting up and operating conventional and computer controlled machine tools
  • Verifying dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
Requirements
  • 5 years or more of experience in a related field
  • On-site work required, with no option to work remotely
  • Green job contributing to environmental preservation, conservation, and restoration
