Body Repair Technician

At Town Autobody and Car Sales ltd, we are seeking a skilled Body Repair Technician to join our team. As a key member of our collision repair department, you will be responsible for estimating repair costs, inspecting repaired vehicles, and testing vehicles for proper handling.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive body repair techniques and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. You will be required to clean and maintain your workspace, replace front end components, and apply primers and paint to surfaces.

In addition to your technical skills, you will need to be physically demanding and able to work in a fast-paced environment. If you are a detail-oriented individual with a passion for automotive repair, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Estimate repair costs based on damage examination reports
  • Inspect repaired vehicles to ensure quality and safety standards
  • Test drive vehicles to ensure proper handling and performance
  • Clean and maintain work space to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
  • Replace front end components, body components, doors, and frame and underbody components
  • Apply primers and paint to surfaces to ensure a high-quality finish

Requirements:

  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in automotive body repair
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Physical demands of the job include bending, crouching, and kneeling
