Job Title: Framer-Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Framer-Carpenter to join our team at Cross Blade Framing Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for framing and constructing buildings, ensuring that all work is done to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Prepare layouts and measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a noisy and dusty environment
  • Excellent physical stamina and ability to handle heavy loads
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliability and punctuality
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the construction industry
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations
Work Environment:
