Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Office Cleaning Specialist to join our team at JM Aesthetics. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our office building.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, and clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Supply Management: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, and launder clothing and household linens.
  • Waste Management: Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Support Services: Mend clothing and linens, and wash windows, walls and ceilings.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: Will train.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to work independently, work under pressure, repetitive tasks, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, and combination of sitting, standing, walking.
  • Personal Qualities: Punctuality, dependability, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, values and ethics, patience, and honesty.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees
  • We participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
  • We assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, such as housing, transportation, storage, childcare, and winter clothing.
  • We support social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees, including facilitating access to community resources, language training, and skills training.
Support for Indigenous People
  • We participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people.
  • We offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
  • We develop and maintain relationships with Indigenous communities, Indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.
