We are seeking a reliable and dependable ECE Assistant to join our team at Jack and Jill Preschool Association. As an ECE Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our childcare centre's daily operations and ensuring the well-being of our young students.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in Housekeeping and Cooking Duties: Assist co-workers in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our children.
- Prepare Snacks and Arrange Rooms: Prepare healthy snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
- Knowledge of Licensing Regulations: Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and maintain accurate records.
- Supervise Children: Supervise a group of 5-10 children at a time, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Certifications and Training: Possess a Child Development Supervisor (ECE Level 3) certification and Emergency Child Care First Aid and CPR training.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Work Environment: Work outdoors in a noisy, non-smoking environment.
- Work Setting: Work in a child care centre setting.
- Personal Qualities: Dependable, reliable, team player, honesty, and ability to multitask.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Language: English language proficiency.
- Availability: Availability to work 10-20 hours per week.
