About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Vice President of Securities Valuations. As a key member of our Securities Valuation team, you will be responsible for leading the pricing and valuation of securities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic oversight to business line development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the pricing and valuation of securities, including ABOR, IBOR, Custody, and Asset Owners
  • Contribute to the development of SecVal strategy and ensure its implementation across the team
  • Ensure compliance with internal requirements, external regulations, and escalation procedures
  • Share valuation and managerial knowledge to support NNB, Alpha onboarding, client change, and Ops model changes
  • Work collaboratively with the team to conduct periodic business reviews, identifying and managing risks, and taking remedial action as needed
  • Provide strategic oversight to business line development, identifying key issues and trends
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including team members, clients, and external partners
  • Develop and maintain cross-departmental and divisional relationships to facilitate issue resolution and business growth

Requirements

  • Competent to Expert with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Finance or a related field
  • 8-10 years of related experience, including previous experience managing staff
  • Proficiency in Excel, Access, and Macros, with familiarity with Bloomberg and Reuters terminals
  • Understanding of financial instruments and capital markets, with securities pricing knowledge and experience
  • Proven negotiation and influencing skills
