Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Computer-Aided Drafting Specialist to join our team at ASF Associates Inc. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed engineering designs and drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare engineering designs and drawings using CAD software
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements and ensure accuracy
  • Supervise and train junior drafting personnel to ensure high-quality work
  • Develop and prepare design sketches and specifications for construction projects
  • Collaborate with engineers and production specialists to establish product requirements and ensure compliance with industry standards

Requirements:

  • College diploma or certificate in a related field (e.g. engineering technology, architecture)
  • 1-2 years of experience in computer-aided drafting and design
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
