Senior DevOps AWS Engineer

NearSource Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps AWS Engineer to join our team in Canada. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure using AWS services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure using AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, and API Gateway.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Artifactory, and Git.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Provide expert-level support for cloud services and infrastructure.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and technologies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • Expertise in AWS and Jenkins.
  • Hands-on scripting experience with Python.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, and Git.
  • Strong experience in DevOps and web service-based systems engineering.
  • Expert experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation templates.
  • Good working knowledge of Serverless technologies such as Lambda and Serverless Framework.
  • Strong experience with Release Management, testing, deployment, and software support.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • AWS Certification is desirable.
