Job Title: Plant Manager

At Flexstaf IT, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our manufacturing facility.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of production staff, ensuring efficient and high-quality production, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide hands-on leadership for day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless execution of production plans.
  2. Achieve performance metrics such as quality, safety, and efficiency, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  3. Manage production schedules, inventory levels, and expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  4. Ensure compliance with safety policies and health regulations, developing and managing plant budgets.
  5. Oversee hiring, training, and development of the production team, fostering a culture of excellence.
  6. Lead continuous improvement initiatives, removing production constraints and enhancing productivity.
  7. Collaborate with R&D and supply chain teams to drive innovation and efficiency.
Physical Demands:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with long periods of standing, sitting, and walking. They will also be expected to engage in bending, stooping, squatting, and ladder climbing, as well as work in various weather and temperature conditions.

Health and Safety:

The Plant Manager will be responsible for conducting tasks safely and responsibly, participating in health and safety training, and reporting accidents, unsafe conditions, and damages.

Qualifications:
  1. 7 years of leadership/management experience in manufacturing, with a strong track record of driving continuous improvement.
  2. Strong budgeting and financial management skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis.
  3. Experience with continuous improvement tools, such as Six Sigma and Lean, and knowledge of safety systems and enforcement.
  4. Excellent leadership, team building, and coaching abilities, with strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills.
  5. Ability to adapt and be flexible in a dynamic environment.
Remote Work:

This is a non-remote position, requiring the successful candidate to work on-site at our manufacturing facility.
