About the Role

As a Field Service Technician at Toromont, you will be part of a team that prioritizes customer satisfaction and safety. Your main responsibility will be to provide top-notch service and repair heavy equipment, specifically Caterpillar machines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and Repair Equipment: Use your technical skills and Caterpillar testing equipment to diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs within established time standards.
  • Maintain Quality Workmanship: Ensure that all repairs meet high-quality standards, and maintain excellent communication with customers throughout the process.
  • Safety and Environmental Awareness: Demonstrate a strong commitment to Toromont's Health and Safety Culture, and adhere to safe working practices at all times.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Valid Technician License: Possess a valid Technician License relative to this position, following Provincial standards.
  • Experience and Skills: Minimum 3 years of experience in repair and service of heavy equipment, both in the shop and in the field. Familiarity with Cat systems (ET and SIS would be beneficial).
  • Driver's License: Hold a valid Driver's Licence (DZ Licence preferred).
About the Compensation Package

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including wages, benefits, and premiums. The estimated annual salary for this role is $85,000-$110,000, depending on location and experience.
