We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at Travelodge Golden. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and ensuring the accuracy of our financial statements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit financial reports, including trial balances, income statements, and balance sheets, to management and stakeholders.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, manage employee benefits, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, optimize financial performance, and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, laws, and industry standards, and identify and mitigate financial risks.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent communication and organizational skills, proficiency in accounting software and systems.
